I was at Gymboree with my son yesterday when I noticed a few parents who are so busy taking pics and video that they end up not interacting with their children. One woman in particular was so busy uploading photos that she completely ignored her son. I understand wanting to share what your child is doing with friends and family, as well as documenting things for yourself but by doing so you can really miss out on some great moments. I know media can last longer than memories but they really can’t replace them. So just put the phone down for a few minutes and just play with or watch your child. I assure you the experience will be far more rewarding.
